Helpful Information When Ordering Balloon Decor

Here is a short video of what to expect and how the process works when ordering balloon decor from Balloons Elite.

CONTRACT

Once you and Balloons Elite have made your decisions on decor, there are a few steps to take and information you should know. A contract will be emailed to you. You must initial and sign where you see the yellow box. the contract is to protect you and Balloons Elite. It makes sure that everyone is on the same page as to date, time, location, decor and who has responsibiliy for what.

INVOICE

Once that is done, you will automatically go to another screen with the invoice. If your event is within 2 weeks of placing you order, full payment is required. An event that is farther out than 2 weeks, a 50% NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT will need to be made to secure the date on our calendar.

Payment can be made by check (if a business), credit card or cash. There will be Sales Tax added to the total, except for non exempt businesses.

Full payment is due 7 days before your event.

TEAR DOWN AFTER YOUR EVENT

A discussion of whether you or Balloons Elite will do the tear down. If Balloons Elite does it, there is an additional charge. The amount of that charge depends on the location, time of tear down and how many people it will take.

When you choose to do the tear down and there is equipment to be returned, such as base plates and poles, you MUST RETURN TO BALLOONS ELITE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF YOUR EVENT OR BE CHARGED TO REPLACE THE EQUIPMENT.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You MUST cancel no later than 2 weeks prior to your event.

CANCELLATION MUST BE DONE IN WRITING EITHER BY EMAIL OR TEXT.

You will NOT receive the DEPOSIT BACK. If you paid in full, 50% will not be refunded as these funds were used to purchase the products used to create your decor and cannot be returned.

How Balloon Decor pricing works

The type of décor you require, the cost of supplies to create it and the time it takes Creating custom balloon décor takes time and money for supplies. The complexity of the design will determine both of these elements.

Every event is different. There are steps that need to be taken to ensure that we have all the necessary supplies, frames and bases to make your incredible décor.

If your décor requires framing and bases, then we will have to custom make that frame and those bases. This is essential so that the décor is secure and looks amazing!

Once the décor is created, it must be bagged up to protect it, loaded for transport, taken to the venue, unloaded, taken out of the bags and finally set up.

We will complete as much of your décor ahead of delivery, depending on the design. Some venues do not give much time for delivery and setup.

What type of vehicle is needed for transporting your décor to the venue?

Large pieces of décor may require a large truck. We do have a delivery van that most pieces will fit into, but there are some designs or if many pieces of décor are made, we may have to rent a larger vehicle.

Quantity of décor pieces you require

How many different pieces of décor, the design and how much time it will take to create is considered. You would pay a plumber, caterer or photographer for their time, the same applies for a professional balloon artist.

Time of delivery and setup

Normal delivery times are between 9am and 4pm, Monday thru Saturday. Deliveries outside of those hours will be charged an additional fee.

Location of the Venue

If the venue is more than 10 miles from our location, we must charge to cover the cost of gas and additional travel time.

Is there equipment that will need to be returned?

If your décor required a frame of some kind and bases, then those will need to be returned to Balloons Elite.

We can get them or you can return them to us within 3 business days and save the retrieval fee.

If the equipment is not returned per the contract you signed, you will be charged to replace them. This is discussed with you at the time you sign the contract and pay the deposit.

We at Balloons Elite, feel that it is in the best interest of our clients to be well informed, so they can make the best decisions possible when working with us.

Planning your Next Event

The keys to good party planning are a clear understanding of what you want to accomplish, budget, organization and a solid time-table to help you get everything done so that you can enjoy your own party as much as your guests will.
Set a budget for décor, food, drinks, venue.
Communicate the budget you have set upfront when working with balloon artist, caterer, etc.
How many people will you invite?
Determine the theme and color scheme.
What type of food and drink do you want to serve
Where will your event be held?

Love Notes Balloon Delivery

The cost is $55 for the Giant Balloon. The delivery fee is $30 within 10 miles of Thornton. You can save the delivery fee and pick it up in Thornton.

The delivery fee is $20 if you do delivery between February 11th and the 13th.

The balloons will be fine if you keep them in the delivery bag and away from a heat source until you are ready to give them to the person.

(Balloons do not like to be in the sun or by a heat register)
